My Top 3 Fonts...today

Way way back, a designer had the choice of using three main foundaries (Adobe, Emigre and Bitstream). Even then, the choices were overwhelming. These days, there are so many foundaries and one-offs that I can hardly keep my font list updated. I admit only using about 12 fonts for almost every project. Garamond, Meta and frutiger are some of my staples, while Silkscreen, The Sans and Futura creep into a few things from time to time. I use to use lots of typefaces from the David Carson library for some of my sport clients such as K2 and Madd Mike's but it has to be the right project.

Icon Matrix

Granted, there are numerous Dingbat and symbol fonts that lend themselves to good icons, however, it's rare that you come across really beautiful pre-made icons that have many applications. Below are some that I've used and re-colored for many-a-projects. Enjoy!
While I'm in a "Matrix" mood, I thought I'd include some exterior pictures of my car. With aircraft-like shapes and curves, it's lost in a timeless sense of beauty and elegance. Can you guess what type of car it is?
