Hey, thanks for the nice mention of An Event Apart Boston! In the interests of accuracy, I should say that this is our first-ever large-format two-day event. We did a number of Events in 2006, but all but one were one-days and the two-day had very limited seating. For 2007, we bumped it up in size due to the demand, and the response has been overwhelming. So in a lot of ways, yes, the Boston show is a first-ever, but it's based on an existing series and has benefitted a lot from what we learned in 2006.
Thanks again for the mention, and please do find me at AEA Boston and introduce yourself!
C'mon Scout, buck up and go to An Event Apart. I went to the Chicago single day event, and must say that listening to these guys speak was very enlightening. Besides Eric, I thought Jim Coudal (who unfortunately won't be in Boston) fed my head well. And, as Eric stated, you are getting 2 days of goodness. Do it.
Since we attended the Chicago version last year, we'll be skipping Boston and hitting SXSW instead.
Ciao.
hey dude,
great to hear from you. didn't know you went to this event. it's not about the money that much as it is scheduling it around a busy work life but enough of my excuse vomiting...i'm going if eric can swing me an academic discount...teacing at but has it's advantages among many...
