Most of you have heard of this site. A place to people to socialize, share, gossip and eventually turn pixels and virtual space into the physical. Lately, this site has been getting a lot of negative press - it's dangers being glamorized by Forest and the Fox Network.

del.icio.us - social destination #3 -
del.icio.us is social bookmarking, social software web service for storing and sharing web bookmarks. According to del.icio.us/doc/about: Everything posted to del.icio.us is publicly viewable; it is not a tool for storing private bookmark collections. It's a way of tagging sites and content. Very powerful.

gather - social destination #2 -
Gather is similar to myspace in that it's part of the plethora of social computing designations however, it's more of a place to seek information on a particular topic or subject and/or become an expert content publisher/participant. Members can make money by writing on a particular subject. The better the subject matter and writing, the more people read, the more money you make.
